Refreshing and Importing Events
Rouzz keeps your schedule up to date automatically, and offers manual refresh and file import when you need them.
Automatic refresh
Rouzz refreshes when calendars or events change — including edits made in other apps, Siri, or cloud sync. Returning to the app after being away also triggers a refresh.
Manual refresh
To force a sync from your connected accounts:
- Open Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Refresh Calendars.
Rouzz pulls the latest events from Google, iCloud, and other connected sources, then reschedules alarms and notifications to match.
Import events from an .ics file
Use Settings → Import Events to add events from an .ics or .ical file:
- Choose the destination calendar (writable calendars only, with color indicators).
- Tap Choose .ics File.
- Pick a file from Files, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Mail, or anywhere on your phone.
- Confirm the import count and tap OK.
Imported events are added to the calendar you selected and sync through that calendar's account. Rouzz reminders default to None for imported events — tap the bell or edit the event to enable alarms.
Import tips
- Make sure the destination calendar is visible in Settings → Calendars if you want to see imported events immediately.
- Large imports may take a moment; wait for the confirmation message.
- If the selected calendar is no longer available, choose a different one and try again.
