Creating and Editing Events

Rouzz lets you create and edit calendar events directly. Changes are saved to EventKit and sync with your calendar accounts.

Creating an event

  1. Tap the + button in the bottom toolbar.
  2. Fill in the event details and tap Save.

Fields

Field Description
Title Required for new events
Reminder None, Notification, or Alarm (see Reminders, Alarms, and Notifications)
All-day Toggle for all-day events
Starts / Ends Date and time (or date only for all-day)
Calendar Which calendar to save to (writable calendars only, with color indicators)
Location Optional location text

Defaults for new events

Editing an event

Tap an event in the list, day detail sheet, or month view to open the editor. You can change title, dates, calendar, location, all-day status, and reminder settings.

Recurring events

If an event repeats, Rouzz shows a read-only Repeats field describing the recurrence rule. You cannot create or edit recurrence in Rouzz — use Apple Calendar or another app for that.

When deleting a recurring event, you can choose Delete This Event Only or Delete All Future Events.

Calendar alerts from other apps

If the event has alerts configured elsewhere (e.g. in Google Calendar or BusyCal), Rouzz displays them under Calendar alerts as read-only information. These are separate from Rouzz's own reminder settings.
